Lately, I've been making this Turmeric Sleep Shot at the beginning of the week and enjoying a shot every evening an hour before bed. Primal Turmeric Sleep Shot


  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Pinch of fresh chilli
  • 1 tbsp raw organic honey
  • 1 1/2 cups organic coconut water
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 60g grated carrot
  • 1 tsp coconut oil



In a food processor add all of your ingredients and blend everything together until you have no large chunks. You should end up with 'bits'. Almost like fresh orange juice.

Once blended, pour the mixture into a large container to keep refrigerated and every evening, pour a shots worth into a shot glass, throw it back and reap the benefits! These shots are best enjoyed cold and thrown back - bottoms up!
