This low carb and paleo-friendly strawberry smoothie is paired with peaches and boosted with collagen for a nutritious and delicious breakfast/snack on the go.

Smoothies are pretty great, aren't they? They're amazing for packing a bunch of nutritious ingredients into one recipe that you otherwise wouldn't eat all in one go. That, and they're super delicious too.

Since the launch of our brand new Primal Collagen range, I've been meaning to create a smoothie using the collagen shot for a real hit of protein & berry sweetness.

Collagen is a natural component of the skin and a major structural protein which can be found inside and outside our bodies and forms your connective tissue and skin. Because of this, it's one of the best sources of protein you may consume.

To make this low carb strawberry smoothie super creamy, I've opted for both coconut yoghurt and milk. Together, these two ingredients create a truly indulgent smoothie that's thick, sweet, fruity and creamy.

Don't worry, you won't need any added sugar as the stevia (a natural sweetener) from the collagen shot will provide this smoothie with plenty of sweetness!

Collagen Boosting Strawberry Smoothie

Total Time: 6 minutes
Servings: 1
60g strawberries, sliced
60g peaches, sliced
240ml coconut milk
60ml coconut yoghurt
1 Primal Living Collagen shot

Place all of your ingredients into a blender (we use our Primal Living Slender Blender for a quick blitz) and blend everything until smooth.

Pour into a glass and enjoy straight away! Easy peasy.
