AAKG is a salt of the essential amino acids Arginine and Alpha-Ketoglutaric. These two aminos are important for blood flow help to metabolise Nitric Oxide. Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate is proven to improve physical performance by breaking down by-products of muscular exertion, such as ammonia, in the liver.

Research suggests AAKG helps stimulate protein synthesis, building muscles by increasing size, strength and endurance. On the right dosage, Insulin levels are increased by up to 30%, leading to increased muscle growth. It does this by increasing the size of blood vessels, thus increasing blood flow without raising blood pressure.
