Steve Bennett's Favourite Daily Supplements

As humans, our immune system plays a vital role, so we should do everything we can to support it. It helps protect us, defends us against infection, keeps a record of every germ it has ever defeated and protects our microbe. To function well, it requires balance and harmony.

These days, our immune system is more important than ever. If you want to enjoy life and succeed at your passions, to conquer your little corner of the world—you need a healthy immune system. Immune health is key to total health—and quality of life.

Every single supplement we take, almost always, someway or another, links back to our immune system. It’s not often I share my everyday supplements, but with this in mind, and as a father of 7 children, I thought I would share with you the supplements I take daily that keep me thriving every single day…

Vitamin C Effervescent

Vitamin C is mighty for a strong immune system. I personally couldn’t go a day without it and thankfully, our Primal Living Vitamin C Effervescent contains 1000mg of vitamin C per tablet (I take one or two a day) and is naturally sweetened with Stevia instead of sugar.

Turmeric

Turmeric is packed full of antioxidants that are crucial for good health in general and I think it's a supplement all adults should be taking daily. Most people assume they can just enjoy turmeric in their favourite meal (which is true to some extent), but without the addition of black pepper (and a large dose), you won't reap its full benefits.

CBD

This one shouldn't come as a surprise as CBD is slowly becoming a well-know product in the health industry for its anti-inflammatory properties, which may help reduce the immune system's inflammatory response.

If I'm honest, I take CBD mostly because my knee plays up occasionally and it truly does help with the pain, but also because it has so many other benefits, including better sleep. Sleep quality, as we all know, is the cherry on top for a healthy and strong immune system.

Zinc

Zinc affects so many systems in the body & most importantly, helps support the normal function of the immune system. It has even been said that having sufficient levels of Zinc in the body can help you cope with stress better - which is so important for our overall immune system.

Multivitamin

Sadly, our soils today lack the vitamins and minerals our body needs through diet alone, even if you’re eating healthily and even primally. Therefore, taking a multivitamin daily is the best way to know that you’re at least hitting your minimums, which is why we like to call it your 'nutritional insurance policy’.

Omega 3

Evidence suggests that EPA and DHA support the immune response by enhancing the function of immune cells.

With our formula, you only need take ONE per day, to get the same amount of EPA and DHA in other tablets. We have also extracted ours from deep cold-water fish to avoid fish harmed by our polluted oceans.

Collagen

A fairy recent product of ours, but one I love to take every day. Our Primal Living collagen contains 100% NRV of vitamin C to help boost collagen formation and aid normal function of the immune system.

Collagen is also incredibly important for healing and sealing the gut (or otherwise known as the 'second brain'). Poor gut health has been linked to a wide range of symptoms, including our immune system.

SlimShotz

I take this supplement daily as I fast throughout the week. SlimShotz contains Glucomannan, a natural ingredient, which helps support the metabolism and in the long run, healthy weight management.   • I used to take my supplements first thing – then we were advised to take them after food, I fast until 4pm so changed my routine to fit – then we were advised to take probiotic in the evening – now Steve tells us he takes all his supplements in the morning . I am now going back to taking all mine first thing with my vit c drink as I did originally, but I cant be the only one who has been confused.
